Poland launches tender for 160 mobile command posts
The Polish Armament Inspectorate has launched a tender for 160 mobile command post modules – Mobilny Modul Stanowiska Dowodzenia (MMSDs) – for delivery from 2015 to 2022.
The MMSDs are intended for division- and lower-level units to provide 10 command and staff workplaces in field conditions.
MMSD sets will consist of a Jelcz 662D.43 military truck, a 15 ft expandable container divided into two compartments to create up to two independent telecommunication networks, and a technical module with two power generating sets and technical accessories.
Jelcz 662 trucks with a two-person cab will be purchased by the Polish Armed Forces in a separate tender and delivered to the selected bidder.
